The North American Malayali Association and Merit (NAMAM) has announced the selection of its new leadership for the 2025-2027 term. Active since 2009, NAMAM has been a prominent voluntary organization focusing on social, cultural, and charitable initiatives. It has been a vital platform for the Malayali diaspora. The new leadership aims to focus on initiatives that benefit the expatriate community and the public at large.
The new team, comprising Pradeep Menon (President), Bindu Sathya (General Secretary), and Syriac Abraham (Treasurer), was declared by NAMAM founder and Secretary General Madhavan B. Nair during the Life Members’ Meeting held on January 4 at the Dominic Hotel, New Jersey.

Pradeep Menon, the newly appointed president of ‘NAMAM,’ is a seasoned professional with extensive global experience in the supply chain and logistics sector. Having showcased remarkable service and expertise in various international companies, Pradeep Menon is a personality dedicated to social development. The social initiatives he has undertaken through ‘NAMAM’ stand as a testament to his leadership skills and organizational capabilities.
Pradeep Menon has been involved in selfless social service through various voluntary organizations in New Jersey for many years, exemplifying strong leadership and comprehensive operational excellence. Upon being elected as the president, he stated, “‘NAMAM’ is an excellent platform for fulfilling social responsibilities towards the community.”

The newly appointed General Secretary, Bindu Sathya, is a personality who has made invaluable contributions to the development, cultural preservation, and promotion of the Malayali community. She is an active participant in the activities of ‘NAMAM’ (Malayali Association). With expertise in the field of Information Technology, Bindu is also deeply involved in social work and voluntary services.

Through her efforts to support economically disadvantaged children and families, participation in and organization of cultural programs that showcase the richness of Malayali heritage, Bindu has proven her social commitment. Balancing her responsibilities as a homemaker and her obligations to society, she exemplifies dedication and service.
It is hoped that NAMAM will provide more opportunities for Bindu to continue working for the welfare of the Malayali community.

Cyriac Abraham has served as a licensing officer under the name “Namam” and has successfully managed organizations such as KCS Enterprises and LLC. Through his personal contributions at “Namam” (NAMAM), his services towards the comprehensive development and welfare of society are truly commendable.

The inauguration of the new leadership of “Namam” (NAMAM) will take place on March 29 at the Royal Albert Palace Hotel. The swearing-in ceremony of 12 other office bearers will also be held on the same day. All life members and specially invited guests attended the event. The cultural performance by Sabu Thiruvalla added charm to the gathering.

Since 2010, “Namam” (NAMAM) has been an active and prominent organization in North America in the social and cultural sectors. The excellent programs organized by “Namam,” such as the Excellence Award Night, have attracted significant attention from the expatriate community. The office bearers have announced that in the coming years, award nights will be organized with even more prestige. Life members, who congratulated the new leadership of “Namam,” expressed that their future efforts will bring more awareness and enthusiasm. Madhavan B. Nair, the founder and general secretary, praised the past contributions of President Asha Menon and other office bearers.
