To be eligible, applicants must:

1. Reside in the United States.
2. Maintain an active home based farming, gardening, or agricultural project.
3. Personally cultivate or manage the farming activities submitted for consideration.
4. Demonstrate ongoing involvement in farming for at least one growing season prior to application.
5. Promote environmentally responsible farming practices.
6. Submit original photographs, videos, and supporting information related to their farming activities.
7. Agree to all Terms and Conditions of the program.

Special consideration will be given to applicants who:

Practice organic Kerala style farming methods.

Avoid harmful chemical pesticides and fertilizers whenever possible.

Promote environmentally friendly agricultural practices.

Encourage home gardening and agricultural education within the Malayalee community.

Applicants must provide:

A completed application form.

Recent photographs of their farm, garden, or agricultural activities.

A brief description of their farming experience and cultivation methods.

Location (city and state only).

Any additional supporting documentation requested by NAMAM.

NAMAM may request additional photographs, videos, interviews, or virtual or in person site verification as part of the evaluation process.

All submissions will be reviewed by a jury panel appointed by NAMAM.

Judging criteria may include:

Quality of farming practices.

Innovation and creativity.

Community impact.

Promotion of Kerala agricultural products and traditions.

Consistency and longevity of farming efforts.

Educational value and ability to inspire others within the Malayalee community.

The decisions of the jury panel and NAMAM shall be final and binding.

Applications are welcome from both members and non members of NAMAM.

However, to receive any award, recognition, certificate, title, cash prize, or related benefits, the selected recipient must be an active NAMAM member in good standing at the time the award is announced and presented.

If a selected recipient is not already a member, they must complete NAMAM membership registration prior to receiving the award.

Failure to obtain or maintain active membership may result in forfeiture of the award and selection of an alternate recipient.

NAMAM reserves the right to verify all submitted information.

Applicants may be required to provide:

Additional photographs or videos.

Proof of farming activity.

Interviews or presentations.

Site visits or virtual inspections where feasible.

Submission of false, misleading, copied, or fraudulent information will result in immediate disqualification.

By submitting an application, participants grant NAMAM permission to use submitted photographs, videos, names, and farming stories for promotional, educational, social media, website, publication, and award related purposes without additional compensation.

Proper credit may be provided whenever practical.

Awards may be presented during a NAMAM Excellence Awards Night, Onam celebration, cultural event, or any other official NAMAM function.

Award recipients are encouraged to participate in award ceremonies and related promotional activities.

NAMAM reserves the right to disqualify any applicant who:

Submits false or misleading information.

Violates program rules.

Engages in unethical conduct.

Attempts to improperly influence judges or the selection process.

NAMAM reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the award program at any time without prior notice if circumstances require.

Submission of an application constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions and all decisions made by NAMAM and its appointed jury panel.
